MIXED - efficient and resilient mixed farming and agroforestry

The project MIXED recognises that efficiency and resilience must be developed with farmers and in the contexts in which farms, farmers’ organizations, service suppliers and value chain actors operate.

During the four years the project will last, the plan is to develop many different networks across Europe, covering a wide range of different mixed agricultural and agroforestry systems. And in addition to the learning that will take place between the partners, it will also create a foundation of scientific knowledge about the various methods and systems that can help to develop the European agricultural sector in a sustainable direction.

Project partners: MIXED consists of 19 partners from 10 different EU countries. Aarhus University, Department of Agroecology in Foulum, Denmark, is the coordinator of the project. The project duration is from October 2020 and 4 years onwards. The project has a budget of 7 million Euro. The project partners are:
