The Slovak Agroforestry Association (SAA) is the first official organization dedicated to agroforestry in Slovakia. This association was established on 25 February 2021 and was founded by a group of researchers, farmers, foresters and agroforestry followers. Its goals include bringing together all those interested in the support and expansion of agroforestry systems in Slovakia and at the same time be as a relevant partner in solving this issue at the domestic level for the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic. In addition, the main goal is to represent Slovakia at the international level within the European Agroforestry Federation (EURAF).
