EURAF was born in November 2012 to promote the adoption of agroforestry practices across Europe. EURAF has since achieved a number of successes.
It has raised awareness and pushed for better conditions for agroforestry and agroforesters in the EU's policies; helped over a dozen countries set up new national agroforestry forums; and spread the exciting news about agroforestry through its website, newsletters and conferences. Because EURAF has neither an office nor a staffed secretariat, this has mostly been achieved through the enthusiastic efforts of volunteers: all of us!
