Irish government supports agroforestry with “substantial grants”
The irish Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Andrew Doyle, highlighted the options available to support agroforestry in Ireland.
Minister Doyle pointed out the “substantial grants available” of €6,220/ha under the Agro-Forestry Scheme together with an annual premium of up to €660/ha
He added that farmers can apply through the Organic Farming Scheme and Agro-Forestry Scheme.

The Department of Forest Restoration and Melioration of NULES of Ukraine has celebrated its 100th anniversary since the founding on November, 6-8 2019. On that occasion the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Reforestation and Forest Melioration in Ukraine: Background, Current State, Challenges of Today and Prospects in Anthropocene" has been held.
